One map. A shared sense of time.
Wind, waves, tides, cameras and advisories are easier to weigh when you can see when each piece of information was observed or forecast. Gillby keeps that context close.
A LITTLE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE. MORE TIME ON THE WATER.
Gillby brings the practical details of a Florida day on the water into one place: the outlook, your boat, the route, your people and the places you want to go.
See what Gillby brings together
That is how Gabriel Keding describes the problem that led him to build Gillby. Checking the water meant piecing together different tools, each with its own view of the coast and its own clock.
Gillby puts wind, waves, tides, radar and available lightning information around one map and timeline. From there, the idea extends to the rest of the day: your boat’s dimensions, where to launch, who is coming and when you expect to return.
The goal is practical: give you a better picture to work with before you leave, and useful tools when you are out.

Inlets, beaches, sandbars, reefs, canals and offshore days call for different information. Gillby starts with Florida, bringing local places and activity context to the broader marine picture. More states are planned; Florida is the current coverage area.
HOW WE THINK ABOUT IT
Wind, waves, tides, cameras and advisories are easier to weigh when you can see when each piece of information was observed or forecast. Gillby keeps that context close.
Source names, timestamps, advisories and unavailable readings belong beside the answer. Missing information should not turn into a reassuring guess.
Your boat and saved places can make planning more useful. Friend-finder location sharing is opt-in and time-limited. AI account access is separate and revocable.
Use the web app, build with the SDK or CLI, or connect a compatible assistant. Native apps and new integrations are being developed around the same water-day experience.
